I'm not looking for cheap aftermarket (boxster no-less) tail lights and I posted here because I'm trying to avoid retail cost. I'd consider myself resourceful enough to check eBay before posting. Thanks for your help, though.

 

I only need a driver's side lense at this point.
I would be willing to buy a pair if necessary.
Any help would be great.

Guess you are too good for that! Meanwhile, half of the parts on a Boxster comes from the 996/997. Guess there will always be people like this in the world.

 

I have a set of mint oem red/clear that I (barely)used on my '99 -996. Took em off when I sold it, been sitting in box as new. I'm in NY, PM me.

986speedster, the lights from a 996 and 986 are not interchangeable, thats probably all he meant.
