You didn't say, but I presume this is for a 997 normally aspirated 3.6?

 

Why are you selling?

 

I know that due to this system wouldn't pass a stringent CA smog inspection due to the different cats. But I also know from experience that 99.9% of the time CA smog checks are a quick visual inspection and a tail pipe sniff.

Does anyone know if this system has successfully passed CA smog requirements?

Helping Ron sell it, he was going to make his c2s DE car but ended up picking up a sweet 964 for DE and turning his 997 c2s stock. All parts are mint condition and i know he's willing to move them. So please make offers as this is definately a steal.

How much just for tha Cat's? Will they fit a 996?

 

Thanks much to Raja for helping spread the word. I'm selling because I just bought a 92 C2 track car and want to "move" some asset from my 997S to the new car. I'll get my performance / exhaust note fix from the new car (has secondary and cat bypass). I don't believe these parts work on anything but the 997 / 997S. I really don't want to break up the set and sell piece-meal. This is a perfect way for somebody to get into a full AWE system for a real deal.
