I've not seen them on a 997.......I will say though. I was on a drive a few months ago and one guy had shown up with a 02 C4S and had the SportTechno's on them. They looked excellent. (IMHO much cooler than the turbo twists).

So now they are sitting and looking for a new owner. (hint hint). I no longer have by C4S so I can't even use them.

PMc4S is infamous around these parts
Bob, I already have a set of these but would like a second set. How old are the tires & what manufacture year is on the sidewall?

Thanks,
Paul

The tires (as are the wheels) are literally flawless.........zero signs of any aging. (Plus I keep them inside protected and covered).

Are you sure these aren't hollow? I was under the impression that the technos were hollow for some reason. In any case, decent price, good luck with the sale. These will fit narrowbody 993s as well.

I have set of Sport Technos, they are hollow-spoke. The standard C4S turbo twists are not. You can tell the difference by looking at the inside of the wheel Hollow-spokes are smooth but solid spokes (C4S) have ridges/indents on each spoke.

Just checked a few things:

1) The back of each spoke is smooth cornered (from front to rear transition, then flattens out where any serial numbers are printed on). So no "depressions". Hollow. As I recall Frank had these on his 996 Turbo. I have the PNs listed earlier in the posting if someone would like to re-verify.

2) The date codes on the tires are:
F1= dfb1104 F2=dfb1204 R1=jfb0704 R2=jfb0704

Also, I think the rears are a little lighter than twists..the fronts are same weight.
