I have not liked the sound of straight pipes...my homeowners *** will sanction me and my wife will not ride in the car...but the power and spool will be incredible.

Is the sound better inside the car?

My EP loud w/ cat deletes is perfect (not that loud at all and zero drone) but I will get a big performance bump from straight pipes.

Tell me about the burns race mufflers.

Sean, I am doing a proto build and am in the same situation want more flow without going crazy on noise. I have a ep loud on my car and Todd is recommending gutting the cats. At 5k for the exhaust I can't see doing that. But since you did, how much louder did it get with the cat delete? did you notice the turbos spooling sooner? and what are you looking to get out of your ep loud. thanks Greg

I knew I should have bought that used umw style exhaust that was posted earlier.

 

sean the burns quiet it down a tad but makes it sounds better , but make nio mistake its still loud ... the cold starts still sound like those race boats lol/

I paid $5k for my Breitling Bentley. Never thought pipes were so $$$$. I understand that this is a Euro pipe but $5k?
