Michelin Pilot Sports 225/40/18 front and 295/40/18 rears

Please send all inquiries to TRSMatt

Up for sale are all 4 of my OEM Porsche 996 Turbo tires. They came mounted on the car when I bought it in April, and the dealership told me that I would probably want to replace the tires when the car was delivered (It was from a dealership in Florida, Im in Ohio and had it trucked here). Why? I dont know because they've got plenty of meat left on them - the fronts are farrr from the wear bars, and the rears still have some good life left in them too. You can see the tread depth from the actual pictures below, sorry I dont have a depth gauge.

Their size is for the OEM 996 Turbo wheels:

225/40/18 front and 295/40/18 rears

I have no problem shipping the tires, will calculate actual costs to your location. Should be no more than $80-$100 by UPS

Please contact me via PM, need these out of the garage!

My asking price is $350 + shipping OBO

225/40/18 front and 295/40/18 rears

I

Stock rear is 295/30-18

295/40 -18 is too large and will damage the differential.

Maybe that is why they recommended replacing them?

I would be interested as I have 295/30/18 on my NB 996 (lowered with coilovers) and I think the 40 will rub right?

TRSMatt 05-13-2010 06:37 AM

sorry for the confusion guys, the correct rear size is 295/30 not 40 as listed.

The only reason I did replace them is because I bought new tires online before the car even arrived here in preparation to drive it right away.
