As mentioned below, it was already pretty darn cheap but I got an offer I cant refuse on a new system and feel like I should pass savings on this one. I have 4 people who sent PM's claiming dibs at 1400 but no one has followed up since I wrote back. It goes to the first person who sends paypal.

Im selling a 2.5 quiet version with the round polished 4" tips. I bought it here and used it for 50 miles. I am looking for a wide open system and will be upgrading to speedtech's no muffler x-pipe. Because I need them for the new one, this system comes without the catalytic converters, which can be purchased from speedtech. This is everything from the muffler to the tips. The sound is awesome and the turbos are very very audible over the exhaust sound

The SpeedTech X-cellerator cross-flow exhaust was designed to offer the discerning Porsche enthusiast the ultimate exhaust system with a number of performance and sound options in one complete package.

Cross-Flow Design

By combining the exhaust pulses from both sides of the Porsche boxer motor with an "X" or "cross-flow" at the center of the
muffler, we have developed a unique, exotic sound that has to be heard to be appreciated.

Design Options

The X-cellerator system includes catalytic converter bypass pipe and muffler bypass pipe options resulting in four possible
exhaust configurations:

1) cat w/ muffler
2) cat w/ bypass pipe
3) no cat w/ muffler
4) no cat w/ bypass pipe

Our modular design incorporates V-Flange couplings for quick and easy swaps between the various sound and performance levels. This versatile design is very easy to use and results in a
quick installation or swap.

Performance

The SpeedTech X-cellerator cross-flow system saves
approximately 25 pounds of weight (full system w/ cats)
compared to the Porsche OEM exhaust. Additional weight
savings can be realized with use of the off road configurations. Whether lap or straight line speed is your goal, the weight
savings will help yield quicker track times.

Our free flowing, straight through design, along with proprietary hi-flow 100 cell “race” catalytic converters will improve the sound and performance of your Porsche 996TT. 100 cell catalytic
converters offer the quickest turbo spool possible, along with increased torque and horsepower. Faster track and ¼ mile times, better everyday performance and the pronounced engine note will provide an enhanced driving experience for all types of uses.

All components are constructed of T304 stainless steel and the muffler is packed with stainless steel wool for years of trouble free performance, even under extreme use conditions. This is a very well built, top of the line exhaust system for the
discriminating enthusiast and very fitting for the Porsche turbo.

Tips

We offer several tip options to appeal to a variety of tastes. Each tip option is pictured to the right. They include:

1) Re-use OEM tips (twin style only)
2) SpeedTech mirror polished, 4” round tips w/ rolled edge, slant cut
3) SpeedTech dual twin tips

Sound

The SpeedTech X-cellerator cross-flow system sounds fantastic and offers all options one could desire in a performance
exhaust. It is available in either a full 3” version (loud) or a 2.5” muffler version (quiet).

Our 2.5 quiet version is extremely quiet while cruising at low RPM’s and allows for easy cell phone usage, conversation and music enjoyment. Yet under acceleration it emits a very sporty, wonderful tuned sound. A perfect combination and aggressive enough for the majority of turbo owners! When optioned with the muffler bypass pipes, the 2.5 becomes a lightweight, full 3” straight pipe system for track use!

If you desire a loud, aggressive sounding system, the 3.0
version is for you! The assertive tone on start-up is followed by a dominant cup car like wail at WOT. A true race car sound for the street. The full 3” design will provide unrestricted flow, even on the most powerful built cars, as well as a stock car.

Can I replace the round tips with oem twin tips or are they welded on?

 

I think they are welded, but I know you can get a new elbow from speedtech and put stocks on. The whole system is modular.

The OEM tip option requires a special outlet pipe that we manufacture to accept the OEM tips. It mounts into the muffler outlet and the tips attach to it. It allows an "up close to the bumper" fitment and side to side adjustment for a proper looking installation, which is rare for aftermarket exhausts utilizing OEM tips.
