Is the "Silver 996 Turbo gauge cluster with 45,658 miles and silver ring accents gauge still available? I want to PM you but I am not allowed by the forum, if the gauge is still available please PM me your email. Thanks
|
I PM'ed you my email address.
Thanks, Al |
The black one doesn't come with that little symbol on the speedometer?
|
Yes, you mean the light for the cruise indicator. It lights up so on the silver they had to cut it out since the silver faces aren't transparent. On the black you only see when it's illuminated.
Also, Silver face has gone to a new home. Black with Turbo logo is still up for grabs. |
Bump.... I still have the black faced assembly with the Turbo logo.
|
Are these drop in? Does the ECU have to be re-programmed?
|
They are drop in but your factory DME will not automatically update the cluster.
The corrrect procedure is to record you exact current mileage and then have Palo Alto Speedometer recalibrate the cluster to match your exact mileage. I was told they charge $200 to perform this procedure. |
Still have the black cluster with turbo logo...

Bump, black cluster with Turbo logo still available!

Will it calibrate itself to the actual mileage of my car? Or will it start at what the cluster currently says?
