My car really woke up on meth. I made over 600rwhp (RWD, not AWD) on EPL's dyno, with my 18g's on meth. Meth will cool your intake charge, (thus allowing more timing and boost) AND lower your A/F ratio a tad, depending on how much you run (I ran 100%)

This was with MS109 and 50/50. We were experimenting to find out the real difference between pump/meth and race gas. Unfortunately you can't run with the Aquamist off (or you are on wastegate) so we had to substitute 50/50. Tony had to limit the tq as it spiked way over 650 at times...on that same day we made between 585 and 595 whp on pump and meth. That's why I decided the extra expense of race gas for ~20whp wasn't worth it... and stuck with pump/meth. Hard to see I guess, but 1 run made 609/629 and the other run made 605/638. For the nonbelievers, it IS possible to get 600whp on 18g's, however you will have major traction issues....

Don't you have turbo inlet piping? Was this dyno with the piping or before piping?

Those dyno's were all done when I had all stock piping, stock IC's and stock airbox and filter. I upgraded all that this year and went back to the dyno and my wastegates wouldn't boost past 1.3bar...(Those dynos were 1.35-1.40ish). This is the upgrades dyno at only 1.3 bar. You can see the power under the curve improvement...just needed more boost and couldn't get it... Tony said is was spinning on the dyno at anything over 640ft/lbs...This was pump/meth, the above dynos are race gas...

What intake box & filter did you go with? I had the Evo and had MAF troubles so I went back to stock, I wonder if the dual intake 997 style stock intake from Vivid is worth the extra air?

Stock, stock, stock, stock. Bottom line is this: If you intend to stay with the stock MAF, STAY WITH THE STOCK AIRBOX AND FILTER, period. The new owner of my car found that out the hard way. The stock airbox and filter will allow all the air you need into the engine, the piping and IC's are the bottleneck. Save yourself some trouble and stick to stock...can't beat the driveability...not pretty, but it works. If you decide to go to much higher HP levels. maybe fenderwell intakes and a different MAF is the way to go, but I would always try to stick to stock as much as possible.

I have been running the EvoMS intake with the dry filter and have not had any issues. I am overall happy with the combination of parts and how everything came together.
