Can you tell us about the turbos- who rebuilt them, how many miles, condition, what flash did you use?

 

Is the Shifter Stock or Factory SKK?

 

The turbos have about 20k miles on them. They appear to still be in great shape and were running perfect when I removed them. The tune that I used with these was from Tony at EPL. Before I installed them, he asked that he have them so they could be worked on for alignment, wastegate adjustments, etc. You could talk to him and find out exactly what he does to them. I do know that they pull very hard from about 3000 rpm to red line. I asked Tony to delay the onset of boost on the tune because I road raced the car and didn't want any wheel spin coming out of corners. He can adjust the tune/turbos to your specifications.

 

It is the stock shifter assembly. I replaced it with a 997 shifter assembly and left that in the car when I sold it last month.

How is this shifter better than stock carrera?

 

Harness bar is sold. Not sure if the turbo shifter is a better unit than the stock carrera piece. They may be identical. Wish I could help with a better answer. Stock shifter for 996tt only item remaining in the garage sale.
