997 GT2 intake manifolds and throttle body splitter, all brand new genuine Porsche parts. Purchased for a build (since it flows better than the 996/7 turbo manifolds and it's cast aluminum vs. plastic for the regular turbo versions). However, I have since decided to go a different direction. These pieces were never installed.

How exactly does this differ from the 997 tt unit? Besides obviously being aluminum?

And do these need to be modified to fit?

unvmy996, this unit is aluminum so it won't split at higher boost levels like the 996/7tt setup, it also outflows the 997tt setup. Cjv on this forum did some testing and airflow wise it goes 996tt<997tt<997gt2. This setup is a direct bolt on but you have to ditch the egr/air injection setup. On my car with no cats this was a non-issue. You just tap and plug the egr ports.
