This unit worked well for me in my 03 996 tt and then was installed into my 996 GT3 and became much shorter of a throw and to stiff and notchy in that car. The reason it made it's way out of my tt and into my GT3 was because my p-tech misunderstood me and thought I asked him to swap it over as he was swapping over euro gt3 seats, a roll bar etc and he figured since he had everything including the center cover and console off it was a no brainer.

He put the 996 stock shifter from my GT3 into my tt and I quickly replaced that unit with the 997 short shifter which I will say I prefer over the B&M unit even in my 996 tt. However, now that I have a 997 GT3 shifter in my GT3 what was originally in my tt had to come out.
Having had them all 3 now I can honestly say that I prefer the 997 GT3 shifter over both the B&M and the 997 ss, but no sense in letting this unit just collect dust. From what I can tell the oem plastic tool that comes with a new shifter does not fit on this unit I am selling to keep the shifter in position to connect the cables.

The part I am selling is a B&M short shifter installed on a 996tt base complete with the two lower cables that connect to the car's cables. I am offering it at less than half the price of the other good options out there mentioned above and will ship to CON US.
