997.1 Xenon Headlights, Pair, Complete

Category: Lights
Price: $900
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): Can-BC
Item Condition: Used

SOLD!

I "upgraded" to some 997.2 Adaptive Headlights so my existing 997.1 Xenon Headlights are for sale.

These are complete with working ballasts and HID bulbs. HID bulbs inside are new GE 5000k bulbs, or I can install new Philips 4300k bulbs if you wish.

Everything in PERFECT working condition. NO broken tabs. Lens are in great condition, just normal wear and tear, no scratches or cracks whatsoever.

The lens are upgraded clear Sti-R which I did last year, at a cost of almost $600 (see link below)

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...afety-mod.html

These will be perfect for anyone with a 997 (2005-2009) without Xenon headlights - simple plug and play; or for anyone with cracked or damaged headlights.

If you were interested in doing clear lens upgrade, these would be perfect. You could then sell your existing set.

Asking $900 plus shipping.

Do you have pictures of the front of your car before and after the clear lens upgrade so I can see what the difference looks like on the car?

Hi, if you click on the link below, you can see all the details about the clear lens upgrade. The first post, you can see clear lens and stock lens side by side output.

On the second post, you can see the before and after pics of the clear lens.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the thread link. I'm really curious though to see if the clear lenses change the look of the front of the car which is why I'd like to see photos of the front of the car with the lights off both before and after the lens change. Thanks.

No, IMO, it does not really change the look of the car, as the lens is just optically clear as opposed to the stock Fresnel lens.

The major difference is when the lights are on. The headlights looks more intense the beam, and the cutoff is sharper. It is more a performance upgrade rather than aesthetic, although at night, the car does look like it has laser beams as headlights

The only way to really change the look of the front of the car (using headlights) is to "upgrade" to the 997.2 headlights.
