A new flywheel is required (either dual mass or LWF will work) and that is the reason I took it off. I installed it without a new flywheel (the shop told me that mine looked like it was good enough) and it was not working correctly and I didn't have the money to invest in a new flywheel at the time. I ended up just getting a stock clutch kit and putting that in.
I didnt know that they require a new flywheel at the time of install and i only found out after calling clutchmasters and talking to them. I sent the clutch in to clutchmasters after the whole ordeal and they assured me that the clutch is in perfect condition.

Clutchmasters strongly recommends that you replace the flywheel when doing the clutch. I believe I actually read that somewhere after I talked to them as well but i can't remember where, Its been a while...After the experience I had, I wouldn't take the risk. I basically had to pay for 2 clutch installs because of the whole mess which wasn't fun and also one of the reasons I couldn't afford a new flywheel at the time.
Best thing to do would be to ask clutchmasters to verify. The problem with any issues like this is that there is so many specific things that need to be done and everyone will always point fingers at the other party blaming them for whatever issue you have.
I had the shop telling me it wasn't their fault, then I had clutchmasters telling me there isn't anything they could do. So in the end I was the one paying for it
