how does this work? You can buy one, but can re-sell it for other people to use? Why don't people just keep flashing their car and pass on to the next person? Genuinely curious

The AP is married to only one VIN number at a point in time. In order to marry the AP to another VIN, the current owner must unmarry the AP from the VIN which flashes the car back to the stock tune.

This is for a 991.1 911 Turbo or 911 Turbo S. The AP comes preloaded with a bunch of tunes, plus you can obtain more from their site or customer support can work with you on a custom tune.

FWIW this will work for ANY car that takes an accessport, if you are changing models it will need to be "relicensed" by COBB which I think is a 150$ fee, plus if there is a cost difference you pay that. I.e. if you were to buy someones subaru accessport they would charge you the difference in price between the subaru and the porsche license. The hardware though is identical.
