I have a Cobb AP for the 996tt, unlocked and ready to go. Just need to load new maps if you're not X50.

 

whats it take to load new maps? is there a cost involved?

 

Super easy, all free. You just download them from the Cobb website.

You pretty much have to do it anytime you get a used Cobb, since it's unlikely that the previous car will have the same DME codes, and you may want different stages based upon your mods etc and what octane is available in your area.
