FS: 911 CUSTOM SUBWOOFER BOX with POLK AUDIO MM12
2 Attachment(s)
Traded in my 2015 911 after three months. Custom built by local high end audio shop designed specifically for the 911. It has a 12" Polk Audio MM1242DVC subwoofer (power handling: 420 watts RMS, peak power handling: 1260 watts, Dual 4OHM voice coils) and enclosure wrapped in a synthetic gray suede to match the alcantara suede headliner in 911's. This sounded so amazing that I was upset when I had to remove it before trading in the 911, I'm sure the new owner would have appreciated the enriched bass response. Selling NOW for $500 shipped to the lower 48 states. Please feel free to P.M. me with any questions.

very cool. what does the bottom look like? I know there's an elevation difference between the area under the glass and where the oem sub used to me
|
Bottom if flat, my 2015 991.1 is completely flat behind the rear seat with no elevation difference. My 911 did not come with the sub in the rear. My factory sub was located in the front.

Nice setup. What did you do for hookup and amplification ?

Signal came from factory sub amp using a HiLo converter with a 400 watt RMS 2OHM stable amplifier. l left the amp and wiring in car when I traded it in. I didn't have time to take it to the shop and have it removed. I was able to remove the box.

Diamond Audio micro amp installed under driver seat in flooring compartment.
I didn't want it mounted in the frunk. |
