However how did you deal with the rear lug nuts ? They seem to be sticking out fairly, did you use the OEM nuts or did you get a custom set ?
If custom set are we sure that the wheels are securely attached (how many 360 turns) ?

They're the stock M14 x 2.0 21mm lug nuts (Aston also had 22mm nuts on some cars, which won't fit these wheels. Only the 21mm lug nuts will fit).
The rears just look like they're out farther because the offset "dish" is deeper on the rear than the front. But there is the same amount of material for the lugs to grip, no difference in number of full turns between front and rear.
Quick note: you can't use an impact gun on them because the holes are only wide enough for a standard socket. Which is fine; I never use an impact gun on this car, I always make sure they're torqued to spec: 133 lb-ft, per the workshop manual.
Hi, thanxs for that. Would you have a picture so that i can see how far the lugs stick out ? DO you know if it would be possible to put shorter nuts ?
I don't know, that's something I never considered. I guess any M14 lug nuts would work, maybe you could find some that are shorter.
I can take a photo when I get home from work this morning.
Here are some photos of the left front and left rear wheels (please excuse how dirty they are, I recently drove the car to an event and haven't had time to wash it yet). As you can see, the lug nuts don't actually stick out from the wheel, they're just more visible on the rears because the rears are more concave. If you want to make them less visible you could always install black lug nuts.
Side note: the wheels were designed by HRE specifically for the Vantage so they sit flush with the fenders. No spacers are needed, you bolt them straight to the rotors.
