How's the flying spur's performance?

Hi, I'm looking at the 06 and new flying spur, how's the performance for those?
The 06 flying spur with 8800 miles, the price around 125k, and the new one almost 180k. Why the Bentley keeps value so bad? Are they need to fix and repair regularly?
Thanks a lot for your advice...:)

If you end up purchasing it i have a almost brand new Quicksilver exhaust im looking to unload. Let me know and ill give you a nice hook up on price. As far as retaining it value i dont have much input on it, sorry. But its an awesome car. I used it for a daily for a while and i love its looks, feel, and performance!

Bentley's are known for their horrible reliability, yes. Its not AS bad as a TVR, but don't expect to go to the track and come back with all the original parts still on it...

OMG........ So horrible????

The latest Bentleys, especially the Continental GT and Flying Spur are pretty much souped up VWs, no reliability issues that I know of. The Arnage though, still carries a bit of typical british reliability issues ...

Several members here have CGTs and I can't remember anyone complaining about the car.

I know a couple of people who have these cars and I think it's a load of bull to call them unreliable.

Look, these are not Hondas. Any car over $100,000 will have more problems than those around $30,000 and this is fact. Bentleys and other such cars require service at various intervals and if you don't have warranty this can add up quickly. Further, I don't think these really high performance and expensive cars are designed to be driven 100s of thousands of miles.

They are luxury vehicles. You can either afford that luxury and the money it will cost you beyond the purchase price or you can settle on something less dramatic.

Otherwise, what do you have to worry about?

If a car brings problems more than has fun, who would spend money on it?

I disagree. Just because you have the money, does not mean you should settle for a poor quality product.

That doesnt make sense to me.

Great point.

Why would one think that because a car is over $100K it will have problems! That's absolutely absurd.

Has anyone ever owned a SAAB? talk about problems.

My 360 has been extremely reliable. What has price to do with it?

All mechanical creations have problems. Have you had a washer & dryer or a hair dryer that did not give a problem one in a while? And what do those items cost?

I would think who makes such a ridiculous staement does not own a car valued over $100K!
