not sure what year your car is but servicing is free for a certain amount of time. I know I received a nice surprise when I was getting ready to pay and my service adviser told me its free

....

i believe you can plug it right into the trunk...i happen to use a battery tender and the dealership hard wired it...still able to close the trunk but if you leave the trunk open, the light will automatically shut off after a few min

if it's hardwired to the battery, it should still have the cable/wire. so, are you closing the trunk on the wire?

i have one hardwired on my lambo, but only latch the "trunk" and don't shut it all the way.

I just went to the Newport Beach dealership, car (05 GT) is due for a 4 year and 5 year service, new tire monitors, tune up, oil change. Will cost a little over $4,000. I am also looking for alternative options, just for consideration. Any advice? Thanks!
