What's the current value?
2007 BENTLEY GTC with about 10k on the dial. I SEE PRICES 120-135K but the cars seem to be sitting. I'm in the market but thinking more like 110?
thanks in advance |
I agree, they seem to be sitting. but that may be a sign of the maraket right now. here are the recent sales at Manheim auctions which reflect similar prices to what you are seeing retail. I suspect many of these were bought for specific individuals, so the price doesn't represent a "true" wholesale value. If someone needs to sell, i would agree with the price you are targeting. but you need to find a motivated seller...

From what I have seen, $110K for a GTC would get you one from a private seller, no extended warranty (CPO), and abnormally hight miles for a Bentley (i.e. around 50-60K). I think there is one on eBay that fits all the above paramaters for about $107K buy-it-now? Maybe in San Diego area.
I have also noticed the trends on cars sitting for a while. On the other hand, aggressively priced vehicles seem to be moving. Dallas Bentley had a few that I was eyeing...a 2008 higher milage Speed, for example, and they seemed to have moved that one fairly quickly. They had the price inthe mid $110K's. The prices seem to be all over the board with these used cars. Most of the differences seem to be based on milage. I haven't started throwing out offers yet, so I am not sure how much wiggle room the dealers have. |
