Current Bentley CGT Price Check + Insurance cost
I'm looking to get into a CGT in the next few months after doing some research and finding the right car. Does anyone know the price points at which these cars are selling for right now by year? In particular 06 to 09?
Can anyone give me a price range for an 08 GTC with around 20k miles?
Thanks guys!
Also I know this has been discussed in the years past but I wanted some more recent information on insurance cost. I was quoted an extra 3k or so with AAA when adding it as a fourth vehicle. It seems in other older threads people have been paying 1k? Is that true and with what insurer? Thanks a lot guys! I look forward to joining this community soon.

Hi, what you are asking is very broad. Best bet would be to check around as an early model with 30k miles will be far less costly than a newer model with only 5k miles. Perhaps a nearly $90k spread(!). As for insurance, call around and try Geiko and Progressive and AAA seems to be quite high indeed!
As for the 08 GTC, i see an 07 at a Bentley dealer asking $130k and it has 16,400 miles. So perhaps add $15k or so for an 08. My usual stance is that 7k miles a year or so fine, and frankly prefer cars with good milage on them as the resale price is less and the car has had any niggles worked out. Ultra-low milage (less than 2k miles a year) on a 3+ year old car is not a good thing imho as cars need their lifeblood (oil, etc) worked on a regular basis.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I'm curious if the costs can be determined by what level of coverage we opt for, or is it all the same coverage for these high cost vehicles? I think it might be because we have high coverage for all our vehicles.
Can I ask how much other members are paying annually for their GT?
Thanks a lot guys.

SE7EN,
Cost to insure can vary widely depending on one's age, living situation, location, past driving record, etc. It seems you are asking some very broad questions. Your best bet is for you to call around and get quotes.
