What an insult. Did I really look like someone who would drive a 300C and acknowledge the wave? Not me! Why didn't the guy recognise that mine cost 10x more than his 'Baby Bentley' lookalike, and that my filmstar looks put me out of his league?

But a few years back I mistook a Chrysler for a Flying Spur even after getting close to it - that winged badge is a killer - so can't get too upset. Mistakes happen when you're not as tucked up to a brand as I am now.

Do you really feel this way? Insulted? I hope you're just kidding. I know you used a smiley face to signify sarcastic humor but your words appear to be a Freudian slip to me. In other words, the joking is just to cover your true feelings.

If you really do feel this way, I would suggest re-thinking your attitude. I've been up. I've been down. Sometimes things happen. We're all people, some just have better toys. That doesn't make them elite. Just better toys. More money, more problems.

We have somoene who lives near me with a 300c estate, and the badges on it have the 'B' in the centre, I came back to my car with it parked right next to me one time. in a huge car park and I was parked miles away from all the other cars!

I'm not a car snob (well I just like my comfort) but I never disguise a car as another, esp an estate.

but each to their own!

Ironically, there's a bloke in the next villiage to mine, who is in his garden tending to it neraley every evening and weekends, we have somehow got into the habit of waving to each other! although not as good as the farmer in our villiage who goes past in the tractor wearing a bikini blowing kisses.....

before you ask.... SHE's a framer!
