Why mess with perfection - you are a doctor and you are a disaster!

However, if you are determined to change your screen name, I suggest "Melvin".

Don't worry this new stuff will not last like all new resolutions.

I did not see on the visualizer the colors of my car, looked like a preset combo of colors. I did not even see the Beluga Black exterior?

1) Go to: http://www.bentleymotors.com
2) Click on: "Configurator" (bottom, left)
3) Click on: "New Configuration" (bottom, center)
4) Click on car choice (listed)
5) Click on "Blacks" under the "Paint" tab
6) Click on "Beluga"

Now, don't change your name.

Gr thanks for the help on the link I figured i was not understanding it well. I will keep the name for now but have questioned using several times worrying that it might give a bad first impression. By now several of you all know me a bit and I am less concerned.

I need to stay off the bentley site fearing expensive desires.

My GTC Speed was Ghost White Pearl with Linen & Beluga, with birdseye maple. Very elegant:

I've seen Portland in person and found it dull and drab, but taste is a personal thing so go with your gut and don't let others' opinions trump your own.
Thanks SanibelSpeed
The CGT in my local dealer's showroom is Silverlake with saffron and Imperial blue with Burr Walnut. What a gorgeous combination. Actually it attracts me for the GT in the first place even my new 991 just arrived around 6 months. However, my 7 years girl does not like the saffron interior, so it won't be my first choice.
All of the cars I own so far all come with black interior except the Toyota Alphard which has a driver for it. I really want a change at this time. Linen or portland looks like the most possible choice at this moment. Is the Linen too white and easier to get dirty?

too bad, bentley dealers not have several demo car on the lot.
I even went to a parallel importer to check their stocks, but the sales there just helpless. They do not even know the color code.

Thanks jc_333
I tried that already, however, it is different from seeing in person. I bought 3 cars last year, all looks different from the configurator when the car arrive

Hope so.
Do not know why, I felt regret every time when my new car arrive

The Linen is the whitest interior Bentley offers, though not a true white - more of an ivory. All light interiors show dirt easily but my 3-year-old GTC Speed's interior looked very good when I traded her in so I don't think it gets dirty too easily to rule Linen out. No question, however, that Portland won't show dirt as easily as Linen. I'm not certain but I think the name "Portland" isn't a tribute to the city but rather to Portland cement, which is a greenish-grayish putty color.

Have you considered Magnolia? The original GTC show car in '05 was Silverlake with Magnolia, Imperial and Birdseye. A truly gorgeous car. Magnolia is lighter than Saffron and not quite as buttery yellow in color, though definitely a warm, slightly yellow shade. Saffron is a darker, yellowish color, also warm. Linen and Portland aren't as warm, and neither have any yellowish cast to them as do Magnolia & Saffron.

I'm likely to choose Magnolia for my next car, though I'd also consider doing Linen again. Being in sunny Florida I tend to choose light interiors and eschew black, but black is a very popular interior color so it's a safe bet when it comes to resale.

If I were you I'd go to as many Bentley dealers as you can and see all the interiors in person and then decide which appeals most to you.

Good luck!

Thanks.

Too bad there is only one official dealer in HK.

I will try to check from other parallel importer. Last time I went to one parallel importer, there are 3 GT all with "white" interior but a bit different from each other. However, the sales did not even know which one is linen/portland/or Magnolia

jc_333 is infamous around these parts
Pratas

To avoid any further regret I would see if Bentley HK could get u a custom factory tour in UK. If not, call up Bentley UK and tell them you have ordered but would like to pick interior colors in PERSON at the factory. I'm pretty sure these custom tours apply to all clients worldwide so dont take no for an answer.

What more could you ask for? A holiday and your dream car getting made right in front of your eyes!

Taken from Bentley site. http://www.bentleymotors.com/world_o...ustomer_tours/

Your personal tour guide will tailor the tour to you, your time, tastes and interests. Whether you can only spare an hour or intend to stay all day to commission your own Bentley, down to selecting the colour of thread that will cross-stitch the voluptuous interior, your guide will help make the most of every moment.

p.s.
You could call the dealer in SZ and drive over if they have anything that suits your taste.

My wife and I drove to Atlanta to visit the dealer there and they had very few cars at all, pathetic. We then went to the new one in Nashville and my wife told me she believe that they would have few cars also since the Bentley/RR are such expensive cars. Boy was she wrong they were loaded with the. I bet they had at least six or seven GTs a SS and a Mulsanne. Three or four Phantoms and dozen Maserati. Pratas if you are set on a Bentley I would consider a tour or ask the if he wants to sell you a car. God forbid he might have to work for the $.
