Question DVD draining battery on 2010 Flying Spur

Just had to disconnect the rear DVD unit on my 2010 flying spur. Took weeks at local reputable garage to find what was causing the battery drain. Drain stopped after disconnecting, so doubt its the wiring loom.
Replacement if you can get one £2040.00, so looking for alternatives.
Local radio/dvd specialists cannot get parts for this unit as its too old.
Flying Spares have a new unit but the price is the same as Bentley would charge £2040.00

Does anyone know if there is a "fix" rather than a "replace" solution in the UK somewhere please??

Hubby is a perfectionist and wants it sorting out. I really dont want to spend £2k on a dvd player if I dont have to. (Weddings have paid us very little over the last 12 months.)

Cheers

Caz x
