Help please, posting photo's.
 

Hi folks.

I have posted in the Official Bentley photo thread and have been trying to post bigger pictures of my Bentley, as per Kensilvers offerings. However, I can't work out how to get anything other than a thumbnail type pic'.
What am I doing wrong?

If your image resides on your device it will only display as a thumbnail....if your image is hosted somewhere you can display it full size by using the postcard option to upload the image URL

I have the pictures on Photobucket but I haven't noticed a Postcard option. I will have another look.

Les, above the text window you will see an icon that looks like a postcard or landscape...if you click on it you will get a box to put the URL of your photobucket image...there are size limitations so make sure your image is not too large...1024x768 works fine

Just to expand on Chuck’s explanation, there are several options to show your photo. You can download them from your computer using the "Attach files" selection below each new post. If you want to show them full size you will need to have your photos hosted somewhere, either on your own website or a hosted photo website like photobucket.com.

With your own hosted photos, use this image tag:

With Photobucket:

1. Select the photo you want to use from your Photobucket album. Make sure it is full size and not a thumbnail.

2. Use the Direct option from the Links to share this photo box and click on the URL to copy it.

3. In your new post at 6speedonline, use the 'insert image' picture tool and paste the Photobucket URL there.

4. The photo will appear wherever that image tag shows.

Looking good Les. You can also edit your post in the Official Photo Thread to put your full size pic there. Just paste your Photobucket image URL into the post and you're done.
