It's gone.

Hi folks.

After getting the GT repaired and finally running right, I have sold it.
4 years of ownership and some hardship, £16,000 worth. I decided that the time was right for a change and that it seemed that as soon as one thing was fixed, another problem would arise. A real love/hate relationship.

Anyway, I swapped it for a Jaguar XFR 5.0 Le Mans special edition, one of only 50 produced and 1 of only 25 in black. Pretty rare if I say so myself.

It's just been on a Dyno and is showing 530.6 BHP & 573.9 ft lb torque. :D
The exhaust sound is awesome, just like the Grand Prix AMG pace car and the acceleration is astounding:eek:, much better than the Bentley. It also handles like it's on rails.

Be a shame to leave the Bentley gang but I will take a look at the forum now and again and see if I can help anyone.

Thanks for the help and advice over the years guys. ;)

Best wishes. Les.

Sorry to hear all the troubles but know exactly what you mean. You've helped me directly and indirectly a number of times with old threads and such and so appreciate the time you spent here.

The new ride sounds awesome!

Please keep in touch Les. You have been a great contributor to the Bentley forum in the past. Your insights will be missed. Hope you find great enjoyment with the Jaguar.

Les, congrats on the truly epic new car! That Jag is a thing of beauty, grace, and serious POWWWWWERRRRRR (tm Jeremy Clarkson LOL). As one online friend to another, i VERY MUCH understand about the ongoing costs of operating a Bentley. The Jaguar is an excellent choice and may it bring you many miles of smiles.

Oh, and drive it like you stole it! :D
