I would recommend that you take the Bentley to a radiator repair shop and have the radiator reconditioned. They will advise if the radiator can be flushed and repaired. This way you will retain the original. There are too many poor quality aftermarket radiators being built (China). Make sure if the original is copper or aluminum replace with same. My experience is that the copper will cool better and last much longer but it is almost twice as heavy. Most radiator repair shops purchase the core from other vendors and use your original tanks.

Wonder if the Phaeton radiator would be a substitute. The 2005 is heavily based on the VW car.

What does the dealer want for the parts/labor/job ?

1. Called a few radiator repair shops and they said that it's very hard to repair those kind of radiators (with the plastic joint to the aluminium)
2. Bentley wholesale sells the OEM radiator for $900 in USA
3. I would like to get it for $300-$400 if possible

Doesn't sound bad at all - pretty reasonable for the Bentley world...

I'm not sure what the change rate $ to £ at the moment but Flying Spares are asking £590 (genuine article) at the moment. But then there would be import duty and all the other expenses to add as well so not viable really.

No VW or aftermarket available in US. Scuderia auto parts online is most affordable for the OEM part it seems.
