New Bentley Owner - It's got issues - help.

Just took delivery of a 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed, W12, 6.0L and on hard acceleration it surges and pops. Zero codes or check engine light. 113,000 miles on the odometer. Completely stock as far as I can tell. Anybody had similar issue and know the fix? I can only imagine fuel filter, but I have very little experience with these vehicles. I build Corvettes and am well versed in GM powertrain but this Bentley thing is new to me. I am taking it up with dealership but if it is something simple I will take care of it myself.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help, and ANY repair manuals or PDF stuff for this car would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have anything helpful?

Driving the car 38 miles and diagnostics are as follows:
1. used 3/8 of a tank of gas in 38 miles.

2. Zero boost produced even at WOT.

3. Shudders, stumbles and pops under acceleration and flashes CEL.

4. Three CEL codes: P0300 - random/multiple cylinder misfire detected, P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire detected, P0305 - cylinder 5 misfire detected.

5. Did not hear vacuum pump turn on when pressing brake pedal after car was at operating temperature.

On the phone with garbage dealership (Houston Direct Auto) trying see what their service department is willing to do. I got a 30 day limited powertrain warranty when I bought the car.

Insight? Thanks in advance.

Use the warranty. I have no idea what might be wrong, but it shouldn't be on you to sort it, IMHO

Hello @2009SpeedSpur ,
In all honesty, as this is a dealership purchase, I would return the vehicle immediately.

There are just to many variables that it could be, at 113k miles, it could be time for plugs and coils, do you have a service record indicating the last tune up service ?

What really bothers me is that you say no boost, are you saying no boost on either turbo, which brings the question as to what are you scanning the vehicle with, do you have the Ross-Tech VCDS, or VAS 5054, does the vacuum pump ever turn on, or is it burnt-out due to over running due to a vacuum leak, vacuum leaks can still occur on a 2009 at the rear of the intake vacuum lines, and the vacuum lines along the firewall/steering rack area, being that the wastegate on each turbo are vacuum operated, I would be concerned about the condition of the turbos themselves, did they experience any damage from possible over-boost due to the waste gates failure to open because of lack of vacuum, as the engine produces no vacuum at certain rpm when boost comes in, therefore the need for the vacuum pump.

This is all just a guess at this point, as we would need some detailed history of service, and a detailed scan with the proper scanning equipment.

Praying it is something simple for you !

Hello @2009SpeedSpur ,
I know that you are probably disgusted at the moment, but can you respond to any of my comments in my post number 6 ?

I am just using a simple ELM327 with TorquePro to view data. I also connected a Volo Performance programmer (no tuning) to see some data but also shows no boost.
Thanks for the prayers!! Needing them!
Talked with their manager. I am going to replace air filters, spark plugs and all coil packs, and fuel filter.
if that doesn't fix it, he wants me to ship it back from TN to TX, so they can look at it!! FML!!

THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH for your advice, assistance and any other witchcraft you can summon.

Also seems some sort of smoke test needs to be done... I have a smoke machine.

The first test to perform before replacing any of the items you mentioned, would be a smoke test, to test for leaks in the vacuum circuit.

I wouldn't waste a dime before doing the smoke test.

You beat me in posting... :)

Do you have anybody close to you with an VAG vehicle such as an Audi/VW/Bentley that may have a Ross-Tech VCDS tool and the laptop to barrow, the RT VCDS is much easier to use compared to the VAS 5054, this way we can get a proper scan.

Gotcha. That will be the first thing I do. Center tube at back of intake manifold? Or remove D/S front wheel and liner and blow smoke through system (check valve removed)?

As Jason shows here, check valve removed.
