Tyre weld and tyre choice

Hello, I pulled a tack out of my tyre. I've used tyre weld to stem a small leak. It's sealed.

I'm just wondering if this is an acceptable fix and I can leave it.

If I do change my tyres is it best to change both rear tyres at the same time?

If it was in the tread and it was small, I'd be happy. Probably not at 200mph but under normal driving.

I also wouldn't change both the tyres.

I expect to be in a minority position

I had a similar problem on Jag but it was side wall damage and the tyre was done. All the tyres were somewhat new and I was able to get the same tyre as a replacement so just replacing the one was fine. As for the patch, don't know much about that but would check the pressure often to make sure the fix holds.
