I have looked at several threads on substitutions for the Gen 1 (and I guess all) GT in regards to different wheel styles. I have the 7 spoke Mulliner spec in silver but would like something as understated as they the Mulliners but more open to show calipers etc and either chrome or 'dark' chrome (PVD). I have a dark chrome license plate frame that looks very good against my Silver Tempest color.
The stock wheels are as far as I can determine:
20 in (and larger with tire profile changes)
57.1 hub
5x 112
+41 ET
That is a lot of offset and many wheels are less than 40 - averaging around 25.
The lower the offset the more the wheel moves out. So what experience do people have with lower offsets? I just can't seem to find a good answer to this question.
How low (min offset) can you go without have problems with fender clearance?
I don't believe this is as much of a problem as say a +50 offset as that can be solved with spacers.
Any comments or links to past threads that I may have missed welcome.
Hello @dangme55 ,
I have +25 offset 20" wheels on my GT, I have no clearance issues at all, and my vehicle is lowered with Ross-Tech and lowering links.
I like the 7 spoke stock Mulliners but they really cover up the calipers etc. I am trying to find something else that is a little more open. I am trying to find something in dark chrome (PVD) but obviously not as popular with any one but me. LOL
I did find this site that lets "nerds" like me play with all the offsets. FWIW here is the link
Whose wheels did you end up with? And I presume they were not 57.1 hubs did you use centrics and how did that work out? (Obviously okay but what size hub do your wheels have?)

I like those Rohana's. I think I saved those on EBay watch list. I also love the red leather interior with the silver. Not giving up my coach leather but red leather / silver is classic.
Hi
I have mounted BC Forged RS43 wheels on to my Gen1 GT and they fit perfectly at all heights that I have tried.
They were ordered specifically to the GT with a 57.1 mm diameter center bore. They are 20x10.5 with a 30 mm offset at the front and 25 mm at the rear.
They are really well machined.
Before mounting them to the car I ran the new naked rims on a jig to test for runout and balance. All 4 whell came out to zero in both parameters. I was very impressed.
Here a few pictures.
Beautiful. I like the look. I just ordered a set of 4 Asanti split spoke ABL-37 in chrome. The split spoke is very open so I will see what it looks like. The problem with finding wheels for the Bentley is, as everyone knows, the brake calipers. If you look at the stock wheels you can see how much they are 'bowed' to accommodate the calipers. I had to go to 22's to get the clearance necessary with the Asanti's. After a lot of research I came to the conclusion that there are very few 20's that have enough 'concavity' to fit.
As soon as they are fitted and I am sure they work I will post up new pix..

Johnny
What is your tire size?
I am about to order 21"x9" wheels and not sure between +30 and +25. Will run a 275/35/21 tire and not lowered.
Flush is fine but not rubbing, or poking out beyond fenders.

Beast wheels. Could fit some mega tires on a 10.5. What is your tire size?
Would you happen to have picture with a steeper angle?
I am still on the fence with offset for the custom made 21"x9". +25 fronts look like it may be too much poke so considering;
+30Front/+25Rear or match F/R +30
