I can't find it

As the title says, I have a 2012 conti GT and I can't find at all the option (if this even has it) an easy exit option. This is when you open the door and the seat retracts rearward to exit the car easily. I normally have to do it manually but I figured with all the creature comforts on this car it would have it. So if any of you Bentley guru's know of it please let me know how to program it.

Really, I looked in the owners manual and throughout the car but I guess I missed it. I'll look for it on the column. Thank you.

Hello sazam, I unlocked that feature on the button you are referring to and all it does is move the steering wheel upward. It does not automatically move the seat rearward when you open the door. I can't believe this car does not have this feature and my Vette did.... go figure.

Firstly, please title your posts to correspond to the issue you are addressing. This makes future forum searches 'by title only' much more productive. Perhaps Admin Johnny can fix that for you.

Now, regarding your issue, you may need to reset the steering wheel positioner. To do so, hold the positioner in the up position and hold for 5 seconds after reaching the stop. Repeat this procedure for the down position, the retracted position and the extended position.

Now see if the steering wheel raises and retracts when you switch off the car (assuming you have the option turned on.

Hi Randy, thank you for the reply but the SW raising when turning the car off and opening the door is not the issue. I thought the seat would retract rearward when exiting the car but is does not.

The seat is not supposed to move upon entering/departing. Only the steering wheel moves. At least on models through 2010. Does your Owner Manual state the saat should move?

It does not that is why I started this thread to see if I'm missing anything. I just thought with all the creature comforts this car has, that would be one of them. My Z06 Corvette it just stands to reason this one would.

Bentley's are beautiful cars but have always been behind the curve on features.

If it's not called out in the OW then the feature doesn't exist. Stop torturing yourself over non-existent options and just enjoy the ones that do.
