Hi,

I have a quick question for you guys. I am in the process of buying an M6 and when I checked the carfax record of the car, it says the car was imported from Germany and when the car came to the US, it already had 4000 miles. I believe the production date of the car is 11/05. However, the carfax record is clean, but it just seems not as complete as other carfax reports.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

 

It may have been a factory demo or a car used by an executive at the company. I would be worried about it being one of the cars used at one of the M Driving Experience days, where the cars have hundreds or thousands of track miles. The hard part is that you can't really trust the dealer to tell you the truth, can you?

 

Have a PPI done by another BMW dealership in the area for an unbiased review, you should be good.
