BMW vs Lexus

So I have owned both 15 years ago. Looking to buy for my wife. In today's market which would be a better choice?

Both good, would depend on model and since you mentioned wife I would lean towards Lexus. My wife loved her RX350. Still claims it was her favorite car ever.

GS 350. Not impressed with any of the latest updates to the 5 series. Interior still feels about 5 years behind the times.
