M3' & CSL's at Nurburgring
Hi guys,
I have been at the nurburgring 3 times in the last 4 months. I am there right now (until Tues) There are many M3's from E30's to the current. Plus each time there has been at least 6 CSL's from Germany & the UK. I have ridden on them in the ring as well; they are awesome. I have always been a Porsche owner and racer, but when I started coming to the ring, I rent BMW race cars (first E36 325, then E36 M3, and this time E36 M3) - they do not rent E46 M3's yet. (Full cage, good suspension, good brakes, stock engines) - and verrry fun! I have been incredibly impressed with the handling, braking and drivability of the BMW. So much so I am thinking about buying a BMW... Anyways, the ring is awesome. I drove 400km yesterday on the track. That has been my average per day each trip. Very cool... I am over here a lot since I have to come to this area for business (pretty lucky :-)) I also saw some Mercedes CLK DTM special edition street cars. Have only seen them in pics before - very cool too... F40's, F50s', lambos, porsches, Audi RS4's, vauxhall, all sorts of cars... .. Norm |
The M3 CSL's are bargains in EU now. Do it!

man id buy a BMW if you like it so much... Porsche is a great car, but sometimes you have to test the other car makers also :D

You should consider getting the new generation M3 when it's released...would be a sweet car ;) |
astonishing amount of miles driven in "green hell"

I liked looking at all the cool cars.
Most likely I saw the comp M3, but was more concentrating on staying on the track :-) I am already planning ahead for next year - hope to run 9 or 10 times there if all works out... Norm |
