Can you guys kindly post some examples of the leases you are paying w/ options, length and down payments.

Finally, any insight to help him w. must have options and over-rated ones.
He will be new to the forum and I want to get him all the info in advance.

NEVER put money down for lease. If this is your first time leasing, I'd say do some research first, there are lots information out there.
