Taza's 1000HP E46 M3

Guess he wasn't lying when he was working on something on the M3 hilarious

Pretty impressive from the video found in the link below. Now to get some videos of this beast on the road.

Guess the question is........ will this thing hook up? Thoughts?

While the fabrication of the kit and the hp figures are a great leap in the E46 world, as an M fan myslef, I can't see this kit putting the power to the ground effectively.

There are videos of ~600whp E46s that readily spin through third. Also, since when is pump gas 100 octane? 'Only' 797whp with that setup.

Couldn't agree more, but impressive for AA I must say!

I also agree with you Alex. Being a E46 M lover and past owner myself, I just can't see how this car hooks up short of DR's, and even then it seems like it would be all over the place.

Not taking away from AA... mind-blowing what they have been able to do with the S54, but the verdict is still out in my mind on this car turning in solid times for its power.

This forum is great, when another car makes power there must be something wrong with it. Its funny only Porsche's can have traction i guess. Im sure Marksi has traction on street tires too (we saw his first videos even on low boost).

I dont care what car it is, if its making 1000HP it doesnt have great traction on street tires. Its all in the tires and ive got that covered soon enough.

LOL no, I don't think it will even get traction with 300+ mm wide street-tires...not even RA1s that are heated up...

I'm just don't really care about building dyno queens...there is also zero talk (Besides clutch and flywheel) about upgrades made to the drivetrain...no way the stock M driveshaft and diff are going to hold that power for very long...I'd be much more worried about those two components than the motor blowing up...

Taza- I'm acctually glad someone was willing to push the boundaries of the S54. I know that D/A and BHS have done some of that will special one-off projects, but this is pretty ground breaking. Props to you.

I agree, that when you start getting into these high HP ranges, you are always going to have traction issues. All I can say is I can't wait to see some videos of this thing in action!:D

I think you're misinterpretting what everyone is saying. No-one is bashing the car or saying that there is something 'wrong' with it. Just pointing out the fact that it will be hard to get the power to the ground...

Regardless of traction, those #s are insane for an E46 aka S54

It is yours?
