Any Cayman's with H&R Spacers?
 

Thinking about getting these...and was wondering if anyone has them on a stock suspension. I have a Cayman S....and since adding the GT3 front end the car's front end now sits LOW...therefore lowering isnt really an option. But i am thinking spacers might give it a little better look/stance.

Anyone just have spacers? Care to share some pictures or thoughts? :)

I have 7mm rear spaces on my Cayman .I would recomend 12 to 15 mm though to get the ultimate look . I got these used cheep so what the heck . They work just fine not too heavy not too light no complaints after 10 months .If you want some really nice wheel spacers in black with perfect fitting lug nuts get ahold of Ralph Booth http://www.boothedesign.com/

I would be interested in some spacers for my cayman as well. Would the stock wheels on the car make a difference or do they all have the same offsets?

I have the Carrera S wheels on my 2006 cayman, are the 15mm rear spacers the right ones?

Best way to get an idea of what would be a good starting point is to take a 3' level and hold it against your fender well.

Measure the distance to the face of your wheel rim or tire and then decide where you want your wheels to sit.

I put H&R's on my 09 CS. I think they are 7/15 F/R. Nice quality. I wouldn't worry so much about the spacer as I would the bolts.

The aftermarket wheels I ordered are 18mm farther out than the stock wheels. I think 15mm spacers would look good.

I think Porsche optional OEM spacers are only 5mm. I have a 2009 Boxster S with 19" Carrera S II wheels. Would your 7mm (front) and 15mm (rear) spacers fit my car without any problems and would going larger than the Porsche-recommended 5mm spacer adversly affect handling (from factory suspension/alignment settings)? I really like the idea of a more aggressive look but I don't want to negatively affect the already excellent handling of this car.

I think Porsche only offers the 5mm option because they don't make a longer lug bolt, which would be required for anything larger then 5mm.

You could get away with the 7mm (F) and 15mm (R) with that setup easily. If anything, you'll notice an improvement in handling by widening the track of the car.. :)

I also have a 2008 boxster with 19" Carrera S II wheels. These wheels are definitely more widely spaced over stock 17" or 18" wheels. I haven't had a chance to measure yet but I'm thinking 15mm rear might be too much. I'm wondering if 7mm might be better for the rear.

PS. I would also be interested in a group buy...

I have the 7mm on the rear and its not enough ,The wheels are still too far inside so iam going to put them on the front and get some 15 mm from rennsport-1 for the rears

I dont think my H&R's have the Hubcentric so these wheel spacers look Ideal to me .Very Impressed
