My CS went a diet, sorta...

I swapped out the heavy full power seats to the Cobra Suzuka seats lost about 65 lbs with both seats.

I weighed my passenger side seat and I got a reading of 61.4 lbs. Is this correct? I didn't have a good scale so I'm not sure if I trust it or not.

I forgot to measure the driver side, but would imagine the driver side weighs more since I noticed more components under the seat.

I also added replaced my 19" Carrera S (lobster) wheels with 18" Forgestar F14s.

I was surprised that the 19" were lighter.

19" fronts w/ ContiSportContact 2 tires were 41.6 lbs.
19" rears w/ Conti tires were 47.2 lbs.

18" fronts w/ BFG KDW tires were 43.6 lbs.
18" rears w/ BFG KDW tires were 48.2 lbs.

So essentially I gained a total of 10.4 lbs. unsprung mass.

Again, I'm not sure if I trust my scale since I used a regular scale bought from Coscto, wish I had an industrial one.

I went for a test drive, and I was shock how much the car felt light. The wheels turn so much easier than the 19s and it feels like I lost a weight. The tires never used to chirp when I shifted gears now my PSM is going nuts and it wants to break loose alot more.

I'm not sure if this is because overall, w/ the seats + heavier wheels+tires, the car lost approx. 55 lbs total or if the BFGs are not as sticker as the Conti tires.

Can someone explain this?

I can take my car sideways now with ease and overall I am happy with the seats and wheels.

I'm ready for the HPDE event (CA Speedway, Fontana Roval) this weekend

What tire pressure should I keep the tires at? Stock recommended PSI?
