Will the Cayman share the Boxter's front and rear lights?
 

I have hesitated to post, since I am new(lurking for a year, but unable to join) and cannot reply to posts..

I've been watching this Cayman since day one, but I still can't find any info, except the current speculation, whether it will share its lights with the Boxster.

One source said that due to cost, Porsche would be using Boxter lights with different bumpers, etc. I find that quite hard to beleive since the price is estimated to be quite high and for less money, one could buy a Boxster S.

I know the specs on this car are appealing but if it looks like a Boxster, I'm out. I love the 911 and in the next 4-5 months will be wither purchasing a 996 or possibly a Cayman. The problem is IMO, Porsche must have designed this so it has major differences than a 911, but to call it a different name besides Boxter, charge big $, and then use Boxter lights will be a let down.
