Acceleration times for Boxster S?

Just interested to see if anyone here has used a performance meter to clock the acceleration times for their Boxster S? I'd be interested to hear what times people are managing ... if so, please post them with quick info in regards to what model/year, what measuring equipment was used (eg. DL1, Performance box, G'tech, etc), and what technique you used to launch the car. If you can also list whether the times were with or without roll-out would also be very much appreciated.

To get the ball rolling, here's what I clocked after a couple goes. Keep in mind that I'm pretty new to the car, so I'm sure there are better times in it.

'08 Boxster S, manual, 1 person on board, G'tech, 1" roll-out:
- 0-60kph = 2.77sec
- 0-100kph = 5.70sec
- 0-160kph = 12.32sec
- 400m = 13.78sec @ 168.1kph

- 0-60mph = 5.44sec

To launch the car I eased the clutch out at ~1500rpm and then fed the throttle in once clutch fully engaged. Shifted at redline.

ps. For people who're not comfortable with the metric system, 60, 100, 160kph equate to 37, 62, and 99mph respectively.

I put the G'tech on an early model Boxster S (ie. year 2000) and the best times were achieved with a clutch drop from ~2500rpm and then modulating the throttle / wheelspin.

'00 Boxster S, manual, 1 person on board, G'tech, 1" roll-out:

- 0-60kph = 2.80sec
- 0-100kph = 6.01sec
- 0-160kph = 13.69sec
- 400m = 14.14sec @ 162.5kph

- 0-60mph = 5.73sec

For interest sake, here are the times that we managed from a 997 S ...

'09 997 S, manual, 2 people on board, G'tech, 1" roll-out:

- 0-60kph = 1.98sec
- 0-100kph = 4.59sec
- 0-160kph = 10.02sec
- 400m = 12.74sec

- 0-60mph = 4.39sec

What trap speed on the 997

Can't give exact figure as on both runs that we did we backed off before just before the 400m mark ... so speed was on a decline. ie. 163kph. No real impact on the actual times as it does not make much difference if you cover the last 20m doing 160kph or 180kph.

Still, according to the data, the trap speed would have been around 177kph.

Put the G'tech on my car again, and with the clutch delay switch disabled and ~3000rpm clutch drop here are the numbers I managed...

'08 Boxster S, manual, 1 person on board, G'tech, 1" roll-out:
- 0-60kph = 2.38sec
- 0-100kph = 5.21sec
- 0-160kph = 11.61sec
- 400m = 13.31sec @ 170.2kph

- 0-60mph = 4.96sec

On a Dyno

Do you also have some actual/real times? Would be great to see how quick the car is.

Sounds like you have a solid set of suspension mods as well as air flow mods, any reason you haven't gone with some sort of forced induction yet?

Also, to keep with the thread, do you have any real time 1/4 times or 0-100km launches?

Forced induction is what I wanted to do since the begining but twice contacted the main supplier but did not get answers to my questions. The risk of doing the investment without proper customer support was not something I was willing to do. Evo was working on a supercharger that never happened and turbowerx was working on a turbo that did not happened either. If at least I find an installer that I feel I can trust with the investment I would probably also do it...but there are no aprooved "T..) dealers in the island.
