I think that looks great... a more "traditional" back-to-the-basics Porsche. Mid-engine layout is sweet.

Is this just hard top version of the boxster or a completely different model (engine,susp, etc)?

It'll have to grow on me too......

I'm not diggin the real-life photo, but the overhead photo of the silver car looks much better...lower and better wheels.

It'll bring lots of traffic to dealership that's for sure. If it's a success, which it will, expect a 4D sedan soon. That's a missing vehicle in the line up.
