With all the Porsche's you have to option 840 Sport Design Steering Wheel (abt $500) and it will give you PDK paddles.

So any guesses as to what the performance acceleration would be like on this Boxster S? Given it's power-to-weight (2910 curb) and PDK gearing im thinking it would probably be equivalent to the E92 M3. That would be enough for me to enjoy this. Past lesser powered boxsters just didn't have enough *****, this one might have just enough.

The front lights have lost that unique shape, these feel like the 599.

I hate to say it, but there is a hint of MR 2 about it.

There are many bits that are great, and the sculpting is a step inwhe right direction, but it feels like the Cayene and the Panamara are leading the design language, not the other way around.

I think it's a step in the SLK, Z4, California direction. Hoping when I see itvinbthe flesh I'm proven wrong.
I agree with you.

991 diffuser + 911 twin exhausts...more aggressive? What do you think?

I think it beats the 911 in the aesthetics. It looks more expensive than the previous boxster

Thank you for posting this brochure link. I have been sickened by the USA configurator and the lack of Sports exhaust. I knew it had to be somewhere and there on page 22 it was!! Avail at earliest 07/2012.

All is right again in my world!

I see why now, "Available from 07/2012 at the earliest." which probably means delivered cars in sep, just in time for winter!

How hard is it to get an optional exhaust ready at launch time? Ridiculous
