He got tired of me whining about not getting my car yet so figured he's stay away until it arrived... :D

I got tired of seeing all of your posts about changing options over and over then all of the waiting posts so I left the boxster/cayman section and bought a 997.2 GTS. :P

That's great cause I was at the dealership looking at a 997.2 for a track car. I'll see you soon...

Wow, never thought someone would ask about me - thanks for asking! Have been extra busy with work lately, plus spending a lot of time at the track and autocross. About 20 track days so far this season, with more to come, and the Cayman R is doing great (no crashes!). Some notes on the car:

- Got a realignment done. Neg camber up front increased to 1.5 degrees, rear was already maxed at 2.3 degrees, a bit of front toe out, and a bit of rear toe in. Net effect is subtle, but understeer seems a little less (wasn't too bad before), grip slightly better, and hopefully the front tires will wear better.

- Running PF08 front pads and PF06 rear pads full-time. Enormously better than the stock pads on both track and street.

- The PS2 tires are tolerable, but looking to try RE-11s next. And hard to keep up in the corners with the guys running R-comps.

- A little more power would be nice, but it's not bad. How did the TPC turbo work out?

- Considering turning PSM off at some point. It's a nice safety feature, but sometimes its interference is annoying.

As are most electronic nannies....

Glad you're able to get so many track days in this year. It seems every year I do less and less. :(

Perhaps I'll see if I can sneak one in this year....

Does your area offer less events? The vegas area used to seemingly have 1 a month whether it was the bmw club, pca, or the f car club, but now its like down to 2 or 3 a year. =\

Nope, events are plentiful and Roebling Road which is one of my favorite tracks close by and I still can't go. I've been slammed and I sold the mini two months ago so unless I want to try to track an H2 with 40's, I'll wait...lol.
