You just don't know my luck....

So I get my new 981 Monday. My normal routine is to drive my new cars immediately to get the clear bra before I go anywhere. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, go immediately to get the bra.

Of course, I drove the car about 40 miles before I got the bra the next day and I received 5 chips in the front bumper. Okay, lesson learned.

While the car is at the clear bra place, I take the wheels to get powdercoated as you all know. When I get the tires dismounted, I find this.

Yup, a nail right in the middle of the tire. Okay, all good, I can patch it but that's typical for me.

My wife recently pulled some stuff from her tanning salon and is currently taking up half the garage with her crap so things are a little tight as you can see.

Anyways, I go downstairs to make sure the sprinklers are turned on and find this.

Apparently one of the screws has pulled from the wall and the cabinet is starting to fall.

Now, THAT is my luck... I rolled the car out this morning because with my luck, it would have fallen and hit the quarter panel.

Ya'll will learn... if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all.

hilarious

Hey you stole my line " If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all"
On the other hand, look how lucky you are to get a new 981. Nice car, enjoy it no matter what. I'm sure I did not have to tell you that.

Looks like you will have a busy day tomorrow cleaning/repairing your garage for your beauty to rest! :)

Hell no... I went riding all day and when I got home, the first thing I did was fix that damn cabinet.

LOL.

You have your priorities absolutely right!

Rifing your Porsche comes first, everything else is second! :D

For some reasons, I thought you settled on leaving the car out for a night. hilarious

Still, you gotta clean up, no? :)

Actually, I took the UTV's out and played on the trails... not the Porsche. However, once I got home, fixed the cabinet and cleaned up, THEN I went out for a couple of hour evening ride.

Though I picked up the car on Monday, I didn't get it back from the clear bra place till Friday about 4pm.

I already had to fill up the tank...lol.

Looking at the fuel gauge on the pic in the other thread... you have 171 miles left on half a tank.

With that kind of mpg, it looks like you are enjoying the car fully! hilarious

I'm only averaging 17 mpg. Lol

I'm not beating on it. I did my break in but LOVE the sport exhaust.

The sport exhaust was worth every penny.

I tried to make a video but too much wind noise. I'll hook up the go pro.

A couple of Sportster 48's. I spent the last few years building a custom and the 48's were so much fun to drive, I sold my custom and bought another one for my wife.

I painted my wife's satin black and satin pink wheels. It still needs a few touches but done enough for her to ride it.
