Brake Calipers - Color choice ?

I know that red is classic. I have a black metallic with silver wheels and was going to go with silver. However, that blends-in with the wheels. I don't like the red. What about a medium gray metallic that will provide some contrast ?
Any opinions ?

Hmmmm.....don't know about green. I was told it was sacreligious to change up the color and that I should go with black. I was thinking medium gray metallic which would provide some contrast.

There's no law tihat says you can't paint the calipers any color you want. With a black car, how about orange calipers?

Yuck...that's even more gaudy than the red.

My boxster is named "Black Beauty" and she is sophisticated and elegant....
and thus I am going with medium gray metallic...which provides just a tad of contrast to the silver wheels.

Soooo it sounds like you really already made up your mind and we are supposed to agree... 🤣😉 however in all honesty given what you have said I really do think your thoughts on doing a dark grey would be a good idea, since you are kind of going for the monochromatic look and feel.
