Is it possible for you to post a picture, or better yet a short video, of what the smoked lights look like in day/night with blinkers on, brakes and running lights?

Yes, you can get a fix-it ticket for running tinted (smoked) tail lights.

Yes, you may get a fix ticket for running with smoked lights, however if you are worried about safety reasons or breaking the law, i would too suggest that you do not smoke your lights. Another solution is you can smoke it lightly, that will still make your car look stunning! =)
