918 vs a LaFerrari at the 2015 VMAX200 event... Extensive debate on Fchat about how the 918 driver got off to a good start. But the fact is that the 918 lauches from a standing start like no other car due to its torque, electric AWD powertrain!

The ETs of the RWD cars are terrible, pointing to a damp track. The trap speeds are interesting but I would expect the P1 and LaF to pull on the 918 on the upper end. Especially when the electric assist runs out. The P1 did run 4mph faster than the 918 at Shift 3ector 1/2 mile event.
All are awesome.
All are awesome.

Agree with you with the exception of the track being damp. Test conditions specifically state track was air dried and for the P1 and LaF the sticky stuff was sprayed for adhesion just like a real drag strip. Surface may look wet due to repeated spraying of the sticky stuff and rubber residue. The big debate on Fchat is tires. The P1 was the only one with Pirelli Trofeo R tires which is an OEM option tire for that car. 918 was on Michelin Sport Cup 2 and the LaF on Pirelli Corsa (developed for LaF)
Seems to me the P1 may like good gas judging by its performance.
