Carrera GT Wing - Switch to Electric Lifts?

I'm currently working on a solution to the expensive failure-prone hydraulic system that raises and lowers the wing. I've supplied "eRam" kits to 996 / 997 turbo owners that share a hydraulic wing mechanism, for the past 2.5 years. Now would like to develop something for the CGT owners. I have an assembly I'm working on converting to eRams for a S.E. US car.

Just trying to gauge interest, hear of anybody that had repairs or replacement at the dealer and get some feedback on the idea. I'm guessing more and more failures will occur with these cars as they age.

Finished the first eRam beta kit. Here is a video of it working:

interesting - but not at that price. My wing only sags if I leave it up when parked for a while - and only a bit - if it were $1k, maybe - No disrespect to your work and engineering....

May not be for everyone. But certainly for those looking for an engineered design and economic solution to replacing the factory hydraulics with something that will work properly for the long haul...
