dealer says don't lower cayenne
my porsche dealer said i should not put the lowering springs on because it ruins the ride and messes up the wheel alighnment and will make the tires wear out at about 5000. miles what do you think? Oh yes i have a 2006 cayenne s.

Tell dealer he/she is a softy and worries too much about nothing. :)
Tell him they already wear out tires fast and if he would perform a good alignment to assist in the wearing issue then he would have done you a good service! Ride comfort is an opinion. |
It's not bad actually but for the passengers maybe a little harsh..
So just put the people you hate in the backhilarious |
lower it and get a 4 wheels alignment job done
|
Tire wear is an issue anyway, might as well lower it and improve the look.
|
the dealer is just covering their @ss imo.

what you have to keep in mind is there are some dealers that are apprehensive towards performing any mods whatsoever. some dealers will balk at the idea and some will work with you.
locate a reputable performance shop that can do the task, and make sure you get an alignment done right after and again 6 months after. you should have no premature wear if the job is done correctly. |
Where in Texas are you located?
Lower it then alaign it and you will be ok Ride quality depends on your suspension choice! Hit up peter@wheelexperts. He just lowered his cayanne via techart module and he hops between Huston and Dallas I'm sure he can hook you up and u can see the truck in person |
Go with a lowering module, not springs. Dealer is just paranoid or stupid.
