Just got my 20" Techno wheels installed - nice!
What kind of rubber are you running? I am going to be adding the 20" sport designs and I need to get new tires, but was thinking of gettin all seasons to run all year long. Has anybody done this in a snowy climate, I'm in Chicago?
I have the 275/40/20 Michelin diamiris on mine(Sport designs) and highly reccomend them.
I have Hankook Ventus 275/40 on the Techno wheels, they are still brand new. Jury is out as I need to put miles on them but so far they seem good. The guys at Globe Motorsports told me they are good tires and I should run them (I was going to either buy new tires or swap out the Yokohamas on my other wheels).
I have Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires 275/45 on my 20" Sport Design wheels which I just took off the car (and are for sale!!), and the tires were fantastic. They are a sport / all season tire and even did well in Mammoth on snowy roads. Quiet on highway and not mushy on corners.
They are cheap at $138/tire at tireRack. The reviews seem to be all 5-stars and apparently if you rotate them regularly you'll get 30k+ miles out of them.

I would not put much into the snow capabilities- in Mammoth there was a lot of ABS kicking in and wheel slippage with icy snow on the ground, but I think any tire short of full snow tires or a set of chains would have done same. They are definitely more of a sport / touring tire. Very quiet ride though. If you go with more of a snow tire the highway ride will be noisier. Always a trade-off.
Have the same wheels and love them. I'd like to see pics of painted inners, I saw a black cayenne with balck out package with balck painted inners and it looked awesome. Im not sure how good it would look on my silver cayenne though.
I am on my second pair of hankooks, i put over 35 k on my first set, good tire witha good price

Post pics or ban!!! LOL -Can't wait to see them, thanks.
I actually have 50% on the front windshield, and 5% on the sides, and nothing at the rear hatch. It can get a bit tricky looking at your side mirrors at night
, but I love the look.
Ill post some pics when I take some new ones, old ones had 30-35%
